PINEAPPLES 🍍 I love growing our food!

Our largest crop of food is pineapples. 🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍We currently have 20 of them growing on our property. My kids are fascinated with their role of caring for them and planting more. Overtime we’re adding more fruits, vegetables, and herbs.

How we grow them:

1. 🍍 As we cut off the leafy part of the pineapple, we leave some “meat” of the pineapple.
2. 🍍 Then we leave it out to try for 2-3 days.
3. 🍍 Then plant in soil; whether a pot or directly in the ground. Water the pineapple for the first 5 days. This will assist in helping it get acclimated to it’s new home.

Other plants that will produce food on our property are our Coconut Trees, Avocado Trees, Mulberry Tree, & Star Fruit Tree. Soon we will be growing herbs like Basil, Cilantro, and Mint! Yum!!! I can already taste their deliciousness🌿 🌱 🌴.

PIÑA 🍍 Me encanta cultivar nuestra comida!

Nuestra mayor cosecha de alimentos es la piña. 🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍Actualmente tenemos 20 de ellos creciendo en nuestra propiedad. Mis hijos están fascinados con su función de cuidarlos y plantar más. En horas extras estamos agregando más frutas, verduras y hierbas.

Cómo los cultivamos:

1. 🍍 Cuando cortamos la parte frondosa de la piña, dejamos algo de “carne” de la piña.
2. 🍍 Luego lo dejamos para probar durante 2-3 días.
3. 🍍 Luego planta en el suelo; Ya sea una olla o directamente en el suelo. Riegue la piña durante los primeros 5 días. Esto ayudará a que se aclimate a su nuevo hogar.

Otras plantas que producirán alimentos en nuestra propiedad son nuestros árboles de coco, árboles de aguacate, morera y árboles frutales de estrella. ¡Pronto estaremos cultivando hierbas como albahaca, cilantro y menta! Yum !!! Ya puedo saborear su exquisitez 🌿 🌱.
